We are seeking a Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) German Real Estate / Offices (m/f/d) to join our German Offices Financial Team in Berlin. 

Reporting to the Head of Corporate and Finance and working closely with Covivio's top management and Asset and Property Management teams, you will play an active role in defining and implementing the portfolio strategy, maximising returns while managing risks. This position requires a keen sense of finance and expertise in market analysis, as well as a strong ability to come up with new ideas.

As a key liaison between the finance departments, management and operational teams (Property Management, Asset Management and Development), your main responsibilities will be as follows:

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Monitor key performance indicators for the German portfolio (rental income, occupancy rates, operating costs), analyse trends, identify opportunities for improvement and challenge their implementation
  • Create and implement financial models (business plans for properties and developments projects) to forecast asset/portfolio performance, including quarterly updates and long-term strategic plans
  • Contribute to the implementation of property disposal plans, in close collaboration with investors, the Asset Management team and Legal teams, setting up data rooms and participating in contract negotiations
  • Monitor valuation campaigns, liaise with experts and auditors as part of the half-yearly expert valuation campaigns and prepare summary presentations
  • Prepare monthly reports, participate in quarterly financial reporting and conduct market research
  • Implement process improvements and develop automated tools to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency and decision-making

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Master's degree, ideally with a specialisation in real estate
  • At least five years' experience in real estate
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including sensitivity and scenario analysis, and proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting and real estate data analysis (advanced Excel, Power BI/SAP a plus)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesise complex data and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluency in German, fluency in business English (written and spoken), French is a plus
